LP gas and carbon monoxide faults are not “sort it out tomorrow” projects. Detectors, ventilation, and leak response come before convenience.

If you smell propane, hear a hiss, or a CO alarm sounds — get to fresh air and shut off the source. Do not keep troubleshooting in a closed coach.
Basics
Leak response
No sparks, no stove lighting, ventilate, close tank valve, leave the space. Soap-solution checks are for cold systems by competent hands — not a lit match.
Appliances
Yellow tips, soot, or delayed ignition mean stop and diagnose. Incomplete combustion makes CO.
Storage
Cylinders upright and secured. Regulators and hoses are wear items — cracked hose is a replace-now.

Owners can inspect, document, and do basic setup from manufacturer manuals. Stop when you smell burning, see structural damage, or the fix needs sealed systems, gas work, or high-current DC you are not trained for.
